Title: How to change attachment directory manually?
Post by: kucing on June 15, 2016, 02:02:39 pm
Hi, I just moved my forum (Elk 1.0.7) from VestaCP to its own VPS using LEMP stack. And it's a breeze except the attachment folder, I cannot change it. :( It's not in Settings.php too. So all my attachments and avatars are not found.

So... help?

You should change in:
(Link-3786)
all the paths to the corresponding new ones.

I think repair settings (http://tools.elkarte.net) will be able to fix some of those errors.

The issue(s) will be found in your settings table having all of the wrong paths (since it was copied).  Trying to change them from the ACP is generally not successful for a transferred site.  So first I'd run repair settings, then I'd search the db for any old path names and manually change any remaining that were found (if they are in serialize arrays, then its a real PITA)

I've had the same problem when I converted my board, but I don't remember how I solved it  :-[ Did you solve it?
