Any Ubuntu pros here ? CTRL A is working but not CTRL C and CTRL V. Works when I use right click.
Everywhere?
Yes. Works no where on PC within Ubuntu.
Honestly I have no idea where the interface to deal with shortcuts is in ubuntu, but IIRC they took the path of the "search", so you should be able to search for shortcuts and see if the right page pops out?
I tried searching ctrl v and ctrl+v. Says " No results ".
I said "shortcut" not ctrl v. ;)
You are genius, you know ? :D
I did try and got a setting for that. But no where I could see an entry that defines copy or paste. As for adding them as custom shortcuts, it is asking for 2 parameters. Name and Command. I could simply give Copy & ctrl + c but that short cut is shown as " disabled ". Any way out ?
What I know is the interface I use (from KDE I don't know if ubuntu has a different one), there there is not much to do, the action is defined and you just set the shortcut.
I guess it's time for:
https://www.google.com/search?q=shortcut%20ubuntu :P
probably one of the results will give you an answer... :(
I use Gnome and this is what I have. There is no option for standard shortcuts
I guess copy&past are under either typing or system
Not there :(
