ElkArte has SO many settings (this is a good thing), but for the life of me, I cant find where to turn on the news fader. I looked in the news and news settings, but didn't see it. Thanks in advance...
Try Admin > Configuration > Theme Settings.

lol I actually had the same problem as well... took me ages.. and was hesitant to ask here at first.. cause it really seemed like a super easy thing..... T.T
