Is it still possible to add a poll to an existing topic?

I can see the button to include a poll with a new topic, but cannot see any way of adding a poll to an existing topic. What gives?

Should be on the left side under the posts. But it seems it's only possible if there was only one post inside the thread.

Left side under posts? Left side of what? I don't get it.

And it should be possible at any stage, IMO. That was useful functionality sometimes.

It is not possible here, to add a poll to an existing topic ...only if you start a new topic.

Than there is a button under the editor.

But there is no button to add a poll, if you are editing the first post of a topic you have started.

Same in my board, @Ruth. Is it a bug?

@Antechinus: If you start a new thread there's a button to add a poll on the left side under the first (and only) post. This button seems to disappear when following posts are published.

Yes, in my forum I can add a poll, if I edit the first post of a topic...each one.

But I am an admin there... ;)

As a member here, I can't add a poll by editing the first post. So maybe this could be canged by the permissions?

Edit your first message and you can add the poll.

Actually, if I'm not wrong, in the post page there is always the button "add poll" (for the OP of course).

Of course, the OP and moderators/admin. It has always been that way. Would you like to see random people attaching random poll to random topics?

I can't do this in the topics, I have already started here, Emanuele...I have tried it.

This a first post of a new topic...and the button "add poll" is there. But if there would be replies in his topic, the button will disapear for him.

Edit: I have tried it again...and now a button is there?

A few hours ago there was no button, I am sure...I have tried in in another topic as well.
