Pre-release announcement - 1.0.10 and 1.1 RC1

Hi all,

first of all a small explanation of this announcement.
Up until now, we have always announced the release of a security update the moment the release was done. This approach assumes anyone with an ElkArte forum installed is monitoring elkarte.net for updates, or receives the email immediately and can perform the update in a short period of time. Otherwise the forum remains unprotected to public vulnerabilities and potential exploits.

In order to help you reduce this "vulnerable" window, we are testing this new approach with a pre-release announcement. The idea is to give you a friendly nudge before the actual release is done, so that you can plan your activity and update in a more timely manner when the release is available.

Done with the explanations, let's start with the announcement.

At the moment I write we are aware of few security issues in ElkArte, we have the fixes ready and we are finishing to test the patches.
As far as we know the issues are not public.

Saturday (probably in the evening/night CEST time) we will release a security update for both the 1.0 and 1.1 lines.
The new versions will be 1.0.10 and 1.1 RC 1 and will contain the above mentioned security fixes along with other fixes and improvements.
