ETA: I've started looking into it. I'll try to have a "draft" by the end of the weekend, but since this is an unusually busy WE for me, it may take a little more.

I attached a development version of OpenImporter here.
If you want to give it a try it should work. But I can't guarantee anything.
I think avatars are not properly transferred.

Import complete no errors

I'm testing  

not imported:

User Groups, Permissions (user and boards), User IP

Import permissions is generally a bad idea, because it's almost impossible to "guess"
Groups... I guess I forgot this step entirely from OI.

Has this been updated to import groups and permissions?  I have a forum I need to move out of Wedge since development of Wedge is halted.
