Re: ElkArte 1.0.9 - Release announcement Reply #1 – August 07, 2016, 06:39:25 pm Other than numbering is this any different than 1.0.8.1? And your text says 1.0.8 fixes 1.0.8. Probably should be 1.0.9.
Re: ElkArte 1.0.9 - Release announcement Reply #2 – August 07, 2016, 07:01:14 pm Yeah, I decided to pick the safer route and name it 1.0.9, I'm not sure how our js code copes with more than 3 indexes. The only other fix I added is a sort of workaround for session handling in PHP 7:https://github.com/elkarte/Elkarte/commit/698b42ad9c07fa7875abcf745d4f4108e0f562f3In case it's not difficult to apply manually.

Re: ElkArte 1.0.9 - Release announcement Reply #8 – September 04, 2016, 04:15:35 pm Don't know if an addon is the best choice, but I like the idea you mentioned in another post that the update should overwrite entire files, or better all files.

Re: ElkArte 1.0.9 - Release announcement Reply #10 – September 04, 2016, 04:21:13 pm I'm using CACHE_STALE (which is set in additional function in custom SSI.php) to display links to latest packages on my site Here it could be used to insert version inside $txt and this $txt would be loaded in news feed - just thinking
