Just noticed Elkarte still uses MyISAM as the storage engine, thus I can't add any foreign keys on my members column. Hopefully I can still add a trigger...

Is Elkarte 2.0 going to use InnoDB?

Wouldn't converting the table to Innodb work?  I've been reading up on how databses work recently.  Keys are one area where knowledge is thin.

Yes, that would work,, but it'll be slow with thousands of members. Would be out of scope for an addon.
