This is great, I was looking for something new to use on a upcoming forum I'm working on. So far I like this fork.

In beta 2 package I don't see upgrade.php file. Is there some way to update Beta 1 to Beta 2? I just don't want to lose settings :)

Suggestion: integrate the uograde script into Elk and call it if beta 1 is detected. Works wonders for usability!

There is no reason to run upgrade.php from beta 1 to beta 2 (or any step in between and hopefully after): no db changes or settings (well, actually I think 1 :P) has been done since beta 1 was released.

Worked great, had to run the installer again though. But once done everything was still there.

Why the installer?
What was the problem?
