ElkArte 1.0.x series - known issues

Here it is the list of known issues in ElkArte 1.0.0.
The list should be updated is new relevant issues are found, but in general, the issues planned to be fixed in the next micro release are tracked at github:

The bug fix and changes since ElkArte 1.0 RC2 can be found in this topic.

Relevant known issues:
  • The language editor can fail with big files. See Aggelos's report
  • Edit the post-based member groups results in a database error (fix planned for Elk 1.0.1)
  • When splitting a topic selecting the messages the last step generates an "Unable to load the 'main' template." error, but the topic is properly split, issue #1811
  • The "more" button doesn't work when using "click-to-open", issue #1812

Here it is the list of known issues in ElkArte 1.0.1.
The list should be updated is new relevant issues are found, but in general, the issues planned to be fixed in the next micro release are tracked at github:

The bug fix and changes since ElkArte 1.0.1 can be found in this topic.

Relevant known issues:
  • The language editor can fail with big files. See Aggelos's report
  • When splitting a topic selecting messages, the post a new message and move to another board do not work. Full report (fixed in 1.0.2)

This is very useful when addons are installed have only one language pack. For those who are not using a text editor (eg Notepad ++) versed, this should be preserved.

This is closed when 1.1 is released and 1.0 is EOL'ed. ;)
