It would be really great if the status page script returned hard 404 and/or 403 errors for either missing or unreadhable topics, either due to permissions or whatever. That way, Google search portal will stop complaining about ‘soft 404’ errors for spam topics that spam bots immediately submit to Google for spidering, which have already been deleted to the rubbish bin.
