Still WIP but getting closer..
Re: Mobile navigation Reply #1 – January 09, 2014, 03:19:27 pm Looking great, I like those top menu icons
Re: Mobile navigation Reply #2 – January 09, 2014, 08:35:20 pm I like the top menu icons, but I'm not a fan of the independent search bar. Hopefully something more elegant can take its place in future iterations. The layout looks good, though. Any live demo to try it on a real mobile device?

Re: Mobile navigation Reply #4 – January 18, 2014, 04:31:07 pm You know... I'm almost tempted to say: screw up words and use images even for desktops! I like it!

If you wanna search with your mobile, use the extended search form. My opinion. I never used the search with tapatalk, so what.
Re: Mobile navigation Reply #6 – February 15, 2014, 01:07:37 am I think it looks very nice, and yes I wish the search could be just a form field with the word search inside when you go responsive..or mobile!but nice job on the menu layout, beats the single drop down for sure!regards, maxx
Re: Mobile navigation Reply #7 – February 15, 2014, 01:13:54 am You mean without the dropdown?Probably it make sense...
Re: Mobile navigation Reply #8 – February 15, 2014, 02:23:03 pm on the search using mobile, if you place your finger on the form field, it will or should open the device key board, you may want a little magnifier in the field though or the text "search:. less congestion in the little mobile window! On the menu it's self I like because it slits the drop downs, unlike most responsive menus that compress all into one drop down that covers the browsing window ( the one you have here I like But don't get wrong I'm loving it!I have done some that only drop down main link items in the drop down menu, but still, not so good like this one. the one you have here is good because the user can see the icon right off, not search for a menu >>>(cool!)regards,Maxx
Re: Mobile navigation Reply #9 – February 15, 2014, 05:55:41 pm I've been using Elk a lot more on the phone and I've very impressive, as I'm sure I say every month.Login is the only real issue as the forms/text/stay logged in buttons are all too close and sometimes muck up a tad, however definitely the best message/topic interface around.
