Here's the permissions and edit screen:

Guests only have perms to view and comment.

I've not been able to reproduce this issue ... I will note that there is a cache issue ... when you update album permissions it takes it several minuets for the gallery permissions to reload/refresh.

The permissions were already set days ago, when installed and set up the gallery.
It seems odd to me, that they could view the item before that comment edit, yet not after.
I'd even removed the edit for a bit to test, and they could see the item again.
As soon as edited it back in, poof, gone again.

Also, like said, they can still see the forum, just not individual items, when click them in the album listing.

No luck yet in reproducing the issue.  I've created albums as admin and regular users allowing guest viewing and guests can see the items.  I did fix the cache issue.  It was not flushing the cache on permission changes so they would not be valid after a change for 7mins, now it takes effect immediately.  Stumped why the comments, cast as int change would have any effect on this.

That looks fine to me :thumbsup: .  I've attached the item and album MODEL files with the cache fixes just replace your existing ones, its worth a try!

Go to that album and toggle the view permissions to something else, save, and then back to guests, just to see if that makes any difference.

Nope, but was a good thought.
Still can see the items in album, but when click to see just item, get that message.

Yes. When click album, they can see the items in it, but can't click to the individual item.
