Quote position without WYSIWYG

Can anyone check if the cursor position is used when you insert a quote and you are NOT using the WYSIWYG editor? With this constellation the quotes are always inserted at the beginning of my text field, not at actual cursor position.

Strange. It seems the IE and Win 7 64Bit (office equipment) has this problem only. I thought I had this problem at home too. But no, it works at home. I see ghosts!  O:-)  Okay, forget IE.  :-X  :D

Scripple is having the same problem, so let's see if he has any additional info to help us pinpoint the issue.

No I don't have the problem.  My test said it was at cursor position as expected.

Will try now on android chrome.
