Hidden Guest????

I'm the only member logged into my site now:

Online Now: 25 Guests, 1 User (0 Buddies, 1 Spider, 1 Hidden)
Active in past 15 minutes: Burke Knight, Baidu

My account is NOT hidden... Who's online page shows:

Just to show something, here we see:

Online Now: 1 Guest, 4 Users (1 Buddy, 1 Hidden)

Active in past 20 minutes: Burke Knight, Joshua Dickerson, emanuele

4 users, 1 is hidden, and the names match that.
So, it's not that there was a hidden logged in member on my site.

I always hide my online status here and in smf. :) But I am not sure who is hidden at your forum.

But, if look, it still counts you as a User abd not a guest.

On my forum, it only counter 1 user, me.
The hidden, was counted as a guest.

Also, only 2 members were active all day. One was at about 6 am. The other, was me.

Okay, it seems there may be an answer to this.
Once a hidden member has been to the site, the hidden does not reset, once the member is off the site.
That Hidden, showed all night.

Will log the hidden user in again, today, and see.

I'm guessing this may be related to the Users Online Today addon.

EDIT:

How shows, with just Me, and the Hidden user: (W1ZLY)

Online Now: 21 Guests, 2 Users (1 Buddy, 1 Hidden)
Active in past 15 minutes: Burke Knight, W1ZLY

I'll keep checking, to see if vanishes, like supposed to, or not.

Okay, have test disabled the Users Online today addon.
As soon as did, the hidden user, still logged in, showed, but the Hidden count, did not.

Online Now: 0 Guests, 2 Users
Active in past 15 minutes: ☠ DeadMan ☠, BurkeKnight

With activated:

Online Now: 0 Guests, 2 Users (1 Hidden)
Active in past 15 minutes: ☠ DeadMan ☠, BurkeKnight

Online today: 2 Users (1 Hidden)
Users active in last 24 hours: BurkeKnight, ☠ DeadMan ☠

That's on another site, so it's not just one site.

Why does the Hidden count vanish, when UOT is disabled, I wonder.
Also, how is UOT affecting the clearing of the hidden counter?

It's a bug from the old smf mod then, as I have it as well on my smf. Whoever it was, ported the mod with the bug attached xD

Is the mod itself the hidden user or creates one?

Another reason it has to be the addon, is it finally does reset, after the time set for the UOT. ;)

I think UOT is @emanuele  doing, lets call him here :D

Hmm..... I guess then, that explains a lot, with what his signature says.... LOL :P

@emanuele

A couple suggestions for it, as well...

1. An option to display the group key for UOT since the regular key is optioned. No real reason to display 2 times, and some people would like the one displaying with the normal Users Online part, I think.

2. The ability to style the group key? I know, I made a mod for SMF to do it and ordering, but if could be added to this addon, that would be so much better, as would be less addons people would have to install.

I'd just like to know how he patches it, when he does, since I could port the fix over to my own forum as well.
